Select Source / Start Stop Stream

Hey Everybody,

I am trying to build a filter graph that allows me to stream a source to the network AND write the same stream to disc at the same time.

** the stream is compressed and cannot be uncompressed at any point during this process.

currently my filter graph appears as such..


Capture Xbar -->Capture Encoder (preview)--> MV_Network Stream
.............................................\
..............................................\ (capture)-->MV_MPEG Multi File Writer

Now the MV_MPEG Multi File Writer allows me to control when and if a file is written out from the incoming capture stream, what i would like to do would be to achieve the same functionality from the Network Stream filter.

I was thinking that maybe a a filter would exist that would allow an input a trigger and a single video output. That used the trigger to "turn on" and "turn off" the input video stream? Maybe this is already possible via some combination of filters that i am not aware off?

So any advice?
any help?
