    Linux and Windows questions

    I am using DMM 42BUC03-ML and porting some code written for that camera, from Linux (using V4L2) to Windows (using the IC Imaging Control SDK).

    I noticed that in the Linux code (the tiscamera from GitHub), there are three V4L2 controls that I could not find in the Windows IC Imaging Control SDK.
    static const unsigned int V4L2_CID_EUVC_GAIN_R_OLD = 0x980921;
    static const unsigned int V4L2_CID_EUVC_GAIN_G_OLD = 0x980922;
    static const unsigned int V4L2_CID_EUVC_GAIN_B_OLD = 0x980923;
    Is there any way to use/access these from Windows?

    Also, what is the dimension for V4L2_CID_EXPOSURE_ABSOLUTE? Is it in 100us?

    Thank you,

    Re: Linux and Windows questions

    If IC Capture does not offer these properties, then they are not available in Windows. It depends also on the used cameras, whether these properties are available.

    The available white balance properties in Windows are:
    Auto Switch
    OnePush Button
    WhiteBalanceRed Range 0 255 64
    WhiteBalanceGreen Range 0 255 64
    WhiteBalanceBlue Range 0 255 64
    Best regards
