Read video stream directly via OpenCV

    Hi guys,

I've found lots of references to OpenCV in these forums, but unfortunately nothing that has helped. At the moment, all I am trying to do is simple: use OpenCV to read the data stream provided by DFG/USB2Pro converter in a triggered (waiting for new frame) fashion.

I have found many references to this, but little cement code that I can use. As a kicker, the rest of the experimental control software is python, and thus I am attempting to write the OpenCV code also in python (there is no Python forum here, but it is a python wrapper over C++ binaries, so C++ forum it is).

Would anyone know the location of example code which can simply read input into OpenCV?

    Thanks for any assistance.

    Cheers
