Lightbulb directshow interface to control external trigger & gain

    Hello,

I am adding support for the Imaging Source camera ( DMK 21BUC03) in software used internally in our company (written in Visual C++ 2005, using Direct Show). So far I was able to capture images and show preview without major changes but I can only access External Trigger setting using Device Setting dialog window ( using Ole Property pages of Video Capture Source).

So, is it possible to control the External Trigger and gain parameters without rewriting all our software to use IC Image Control?

    Thank You

    Hello Ilmarin,

Yes, it is possible to control trigger and gain without IC Imaging Control. However, I never did this on my own, I have no own DirectShow programming knowledge.

I would like you to contact me at http://www.imagingcontrol.com/en_US/support/case/ so we can discus this by email. I can provide you with the necessary header files for the KSPropertySet.
    Best regards
    Stefan
