    Re: DMK51 + USB3 = No video

With regards to USB issues, I have had those poor frame rate issues with DBK31.
I found that on MY HP Laptop if I disabled USB 3 XHCI mode in the bios the Camera speed increased.
    Previously I could...

Re: "New" Debayering Solution Using AviSynth

Used the virtual dub plugin, firecapture would not run on my system at all, no error. Tried an old jupiter file, attached both versions. this is a very quick processing run, but shows immediate...
  4. Re: Noise in images during Registax processing

Some people note this is likely caused my mount tracking error, and I did indeed have some tracking errors on the night in question.

    Re: stripes

I have occasionally seen them on jupiter images. I have a DBK41Au
Yes sharpening in registax 5.1 makes them worse as is normal with some repetitive types of noise. But on the same camera I also have...
  7. Noise in images during Registax processing

    Hi,
I find some horizontal lines appear at the bottom of my images during processing.
Even the reference frame is showing them in registax
I am upgraded to IC capture 2.2 (from 2.1) and to the...

    Re: Need Help (DFK21AF04.AS)

    Hi Steve,
it's hard to get the good solid focus with any camera, and there is some trial and error, and a learning curve involved.
A bad or barely adequate focusser will make this much harder.
    I...

    Re: Debeyering Issue in Registax

try downloading the vlc media player, it's a sort of all purpose player.
Open the avi and look closely at both video's and see if the artifacts exist in one and not the other.
    A lot of my avi's...

    Re: Debeyering Issue in Registax

Did you make some changes on the exposure and gain settings?
I know on my DBK41 some settings seem more prone to this than others.

What format did you record the second avi in, yuy2 or?

    Re: DMK21AF04 Artefacts at 60fps

Heavy sharpening and processing can influence this kind of noise. That's why de-ringing exists in registax, it's not only for imaging source camera's.
As already mentioned USB conditions could be...

    effect of brightness Adjustment

    Hi Stefan,
the brightness adjustment slider has only a very small effect on my DBK41.
    I mean, almost imperceptible :-)

    This is normal or ?

    Best regards,

    Re: Reduce resolution DBK41

    Hi Adam,
I want to reduce number of pixels as most of the images I make will not be come close to fill the chip. I was hoping to increase the frame rate to utilise the extra available bandwidth.

    Re: Reduce resolution DBK41

    Pity,
that would be a sweet way to get a "ROI" and increased framerate.
Any chance we could see it in the future Stefan?

Re: One camera multiple outputs... GigE?

Unsure of how the device works, but if you have a Gigabit ethernet switch, you could plug in the device and the "control PC" into the switch, as well as another several devices.

Re: Cannot connect to FW in Win7

No harm to look for the latest microsoft patches for win 7, as well as any apple driver updates, and if that doesn't work maybe try Bios update!

    Re: GigE Cameras. Radio Interferences...

Perhaps you could try using another known good cable?
A shielded cable rather than UTP may be best for your requirements.
