Installing to a 32 bits machine:
I developed a small application using Vb2010. In a machine w/ Windows 7 32 bits. Cretaed a install package in deplyed into a windows XP 32 bits machine. Also installed the IC capture and ImagingControl . NEt component package.
After I ran my application succesfully.

Installing to a 64 bits machine:
I took the same install package and deployed into a windows7 64 bit machine. Also installed the IC capture and ImagingControl . NEt component package. Here Im able to run IC capture and view images without problems

When trying to run the my application I get the following error:
could not load file or assembly TIS.ImagingControl32.dll or one of its dependencies. The specified module could not be found.

Hi, everyone im new to this forum and i have a project for school, what i need is how to make a desktop like windows with a start menu, and how do i make the icons move and be able to move them, i know you have to us a listbox but i just dont know how to us it to make a desktop i gess what im asking for is how to make a fake operating system, should i us visual basic 6.0 for this or c++ i only know how to us visual basic 6.0 just starting it so im a newbe, i know the basics, and i when to planet sourc code and foun a some but know of them have what im looking for, this just a project i need for school so please help me just to get started thanks all four your help.

I used IC Imaging Control ActiveX 3.2 today, then I found out my capture device was not recognized by the ActiveX 3.2. The same capture device was properly recognized by the ActiveX of IC Imaging Control 3.0.

I understand that IC Imaging Control ActiveX 3.2 doesn't support other than TIS cameras. However, this situation means that the ActiveX 3.2 can not be used on other than TIS cameras. Does "NOT SUPPORT" mean "CAN NOT USE"?
If it's not my misunderstanding, I can not control my capture device on 64bit environment by using IC Imaging Control ActiveX.

Is this my misunderstanding, or intentional implementation by Imaging Source?

I am working on a multispectral camera that requires capturing images from two cameras simultaneously. I have just started working on this project and am just looking for the best way to capture images from two cameras.

i have a DNK 41BU02 USB-camera and a computer with windows 7 (32 bit) on it. The camera works correctly when i use ic-campture or the programs in ic imaging control 3.1 folder. i want to develop a labview (2010) program but, when i open the ic control in the front pannel, labview shuts down.
what should i do?

I have DFK 21AU04 Cam. I am trying to capture an Image using that in labview.

Tried all things I could to make it work. Finally thought of writing to you.

Have attached my labview program and it throws "The object is not initialized in cam.vi" error when I tried to capture an image.

Note: The camera is working; Stop/Start functionalities are working; When I click start, I can see live video. Only the Grap Image functionality is giving me headaches.
I am using labview 2010 and IC imaging control 3.2

If you could guide me, it would be great.

I am not able to use two cameras connected at two different USB port. These cameras have the same type: DMx 22AUCO3. Only the Serial Number is different.
The IC Capture 2.2 see only one camera and the ActiveX ICImagingControl.Devices method has only one camera in his list.

How can do the two cameras work together?

I have a DMK 41BU02.H camera that I'm learning to program in LabView. So far, I've built a VI similar to the one described in the "Getting Started" part of the documentation. It has an IC Imaging Control, a button to capture an image and plot it as an intensity map, and a button to stop the program.

I also added an ROI filter, since that's something I'll need to use down the road. Without the ROI filter, it works great. With the ROI filter, it works the first time I start the VI, but fails if I stop and restart. The failure occurs in IC_OpenDevice when it tries to set the MemoryCurrentGrabberColorformat property of the ICImagingControl object. The error message I get is shown in one of the images below, but it isn't very descriptive.

The Debug image shows where the first error occurs in IC_OpenDevice

As you can see, I'm using IC_Clear.VI to reset some properties of the ICImagingControl when my VI starts and stops. I read another thread here where that was recommended as a solution to a similar problem. All that IC_Clear does is stop live display, clear the FrameFilters chain, and set ICImagingControl.Device to null.

Does anyone have any advice? Should I reset some other things in IC_Clear?

I'm not that familiar with ActiveX or how it works with LabView, so I've run out of ideas to try. Is it possible to issue a command to completely clear the ICImagingControl object and start from scratch? One (poor) solution I've found is to manually delete the control and replace it from the IC LabView Extension palette before restarting the VI. That works, but obviously I don't want to do that every time.

Hi,

I found that invoking the MemorySnapImage and MemorySaveImage methods in LabView greatly simplifies and speeds up my application which writes image data to the disk without needing to display it on the screen, thus eliminating the need for IC Grab Picture and/or IC Grab IMAQ VI's.

However I am restricted to BMP with MemorySaveImage and JPG with MemorySaveImageJpeg. Would a PNG option be available in the future? It would be immensely useful since now one measurement cycle of mine produces some 12 gigabytes of data when using BMP. PNG would cut it down to 2 or 3 gigabytes.

I am using the IC_Grab_Picture.vi in my application and I get an Error 1097 when I execute my code. I have had my application work with this vi, but when I make changes to my main vi the IC_Grab_Picture will start failing. I am not sure what I do to get it working again. Attached is the error message that I am getting. I am using Labview 2010.

I am trying to get the image data to be able to create a histogram of the instensity and the array size that I am getting is 3071 x 767, but my camera image size is 1024 x 768.

Attached is the code that I am using in Labview to get the image data. I am using a DMx31BU03 camera.
