error in writing avi

dear sir:

i'm having trouble capturing avi i'm using lifeview flyvideo capture card series 2000
i tried using the sample file bundled in the package but i get the same error message:

Run-time error '2';

An unexpected DShowLibException occured: CFilterGraph::connect(
CPin& src, CPin& dest): failed to connect the pins
COM Error Message : No combination of intermediate filters could be
found to make the connection.
In file : C:\CSource\Core\DShowLib\FilterGraph.cpp at line : 762

can anyone help me?

Is it true that you got an error when you used a capture program that came with the baord ?
