Hi,

it's a really nice idea and we are searching for something like your control.

But for example for the BT787 or BT848 (Connexant) there are nearly no
drivers available for xp and win2k (Which are needed to use your control).

So most of the users will be found with win98.
And this is exactly the OS which you don't support.

Under this circumstances it's not interesting for us. - Sorry.

Maybe if you decide to support also win98 in the future...

Herbert

Conexant WDM drivers are available for W2000/ME and XP and usually come with
the acqusition board. Please see: www.aver.com

Windows 95/98 users can still make use of VfW drivers or propriety drivers. VfW drivers are not supported by IC Imaging Control.

The problem is that then you have to write 2 pieces of software (totally different) for the different O/S systems which just isn't pacticable for most people. In many VFW applications you have to acces some of the driver files directly so using the VFW wrapper for WDM drivers does not work.

The incompatability with win98 kills this for me as well. Thanks microsoft!
