Hello to all:

I looked at the Imaging Control form The Image Source. It appears to do some type of multimedia compilations (don't know too much about it yet).

Actually, what I'm looking for is a really simple ActiveX control that will integrate with a scanner and scan documents. I don't want the user to have to "think." I'd like to automate as much of this as possible in my own application. Maybe the control could even have some type of compression software or allow for different methods of saving the scanned document (ie: bmp, jpg, etc).

Does anyone know of an ActiveX control out there that will do that?

Thanks.

Hello,

As far as I am aware there are no scanners that are shipped with a WDM streaming driver. I therefore think IC
Imaging Control is not the appropriate tool for your project.

May I suggest that you take a closer look at LEADTOOLS instead?

That should meet your requirements. Take a look at:

for details.

Best regards
