Controlling Camera from PC

Is it possible to write an application that controls DV Camera features like zoom and focus from the PC? Maybe using RAW AV/C commands?

Hello,

As far as I know, this is not possible using the DirectShow API.
If there is someone reading this forum who has substancial knowlledge of the Microsoft DV driver, I would like to know his suggestion for a proprietary way of accessing the zoom and focus of a DV camera.
