input-channel changing does not work reliably

Hello,

I am using a DFG 1394 with two cameras attached to the different channels. Switching between these channels does not work reliably.

About half the the time, i just get a white screen (but no error messages from the commands) and have to try again, to get the life-video image.

I use

stopLive()
setInputChannel(newChannel)
startLive()

to switch between the channels. The C++ SampleApp seems to have the same problem.

What commands should i use, to switch reliably?
