What about sound and timecode

Camera: Sony DCR-TRV900E PAL
Adapter: NEC IEEE 1394 Type II CardBus interface
System : XP

I'm testing your 1.3 version and the captured AVIs look fine, but how can I create the sound from the camera into to AVIs?

2)
How to detect time or frame count during capture?

When using Windows Movie Maker, I have no problems with the sound and time information from the camera and I'm looking for the same options in a ActiveX.

Hello,

I am afraid that IC does not meet your requirements. IC focuses on image vision and does not handle sound. Please note that IC will first decompress and afterwords recompress the image data coming from the DV camera. If you just want to transfer a video from a DV device to an AVI file you should rather do this with a standard capture tool.
