Hi:
I need a digital camera to do realtime imaging. And develope some software prossesing the image frame by frame. Some questions here:

1. What DCAM can get the color image of 36bit(12bit/per colour) or higher?
The resolution of 640X480 is enough.
2. Can I use the digital camera such as Nikon D1X to do the realtime imaging?
3. I worry about whether I have enough time to prossesing the image pixel by pixel of every frame. Can you give me a concept how fast the calculation needed between the frames at a rate such as 15f/s?

Thank you very much

Hello,

I am sorry, but I do not know a DCAM camera that outputs more than 24 bit for color and more than 8 bits for monochrome images. This does not mean that there is no.

The time needed for image processing is dependant on the algorithms. A general answer to this question is impossible.
