Frame Grab USB Video in VB

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to grab individual frames from a USB based camera linked to my PC running XP Pro... I have an app written in Visual Basic 6 that already will allow me to capture video, but I need a way to, for example grab a single frame once a second and store it locally in JPG format.

Hello,

Using IC this can be done easily. All you have to do is to add a few lines of code to the demo program. Please download the TRIAL version of IC and check it out.

Hello,

The VB demo "Grabbing an Image" shows you how to grab an image and store it to disk. All you have to do is to use a timer instead of a button to grab and save tht image. Please refer to the online manual for details:
