View Full Version : size of live window smaller then selected mode

August 26, 2002, 08:50:18

I am using the DFG/1394 converter and have selected RGB24 768x588 VideoMode (#17).
Recently, but not always the size of the live-video-window is to small in height, about 500 pixels high instead of the expected 588.

This problem did not occurr during the first few weeks of testing, but occurrs continuously, now.

When i grab and save images, they have the correct size.

I am using Win2K and the newest version of the driver.

What might be the reason for this behaviour?

Best regards, Martin

Hello Martin,

If the video window is placed in another client window, the size of the video window depends on the size of the client window. This has been done in the Demoapps of IC Imaging Control. If there would be added another toolbar or a status bar, the client window would be smaller and some lines of the video window would not be displayed. This happens, because the size of the clientwindow is calculated relativly to the parent window.
