Autogain and Logitech Pro 3000

Using the Logitech Pro 3000, VB6, and Win XP, I find that ICImagingControl1.GainAutoAvailable is false. (It also seems all "autoavailable" properties are false.)

But, the Logitech SDK1.0 documentation identifies PROPERTY_AUTO_ANALOGAIN as having two possible values, ADJUSTMENT_MANUAL and ADJUSTMENT_AUTOMATIC.

I do not know this camera but it might be possible that Logitech provides functionalty in their own SDK which is not supported by the WDM streaming device driver.
