I just downloaded the trial version and can't build any of the samples. I keep getting the following error message:
c:\program files\the imaging source europe gmbh\ic imaging control 1.3\classlib\include\videonormitem.h(19) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'dshow.h': No such file or directory

I did install DirectX 8.1 but can't find any dshow.h on my hard disk? do I have to download and install the whole DirectX SDK from Microsoft?

Thank you

Hello,

Yes, if you use the class library you have to install the DirectX SDK because the header files are part of it. Be careful not to install the debug version of DirectShow because a lot of video capture sources and filters do not work properly or crash if the debug version is installed.

If Someone search the link to download the DirectX SDK:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/default.asp?url=/downloads/sample.asp?url=/msdn-files/027/001/771/msdncompositedoc.xml
