Hello,
I need to develop some applications ( both in VC and VB ) to save Mpeg2 Program Stream files on disk at 6 Mbps encoding a composite PAL live video using a Osprey 2000 PCI card ( www.viewcast.com).

As Osprey 2000 supports DirectShow, do you think I could use IC for VB and VC to encode the live signale into Mpeg2 files on disk ?

Does IC support Osprey 2000 cards ?

Thanks

Hi Stefano,

If the Osprey 2000 has a WDM Driver, IC Imaging control should be able to
communicate whith it to display a live display.
You should try the trial version of IC Imaging Control. In the demo
applications you can capture an AVI and check whether the Osprey
2000 is listed as codec. If so, IC Imaging Control should handle the
capturing of AVI with your grabber card.

Best regards
