Is there anyway to control the dv camera device (ie: fast forward/rewind/stop/pause) and to get the current position?

Hi Brant,

the IC Imaging Control 1.3 supports fast forward/rewind/stop/pause for DV devices. It is named "ExternalTransport". The ActiveX ICImagingControl uses

ICImagingControl1.ExternalTransportMode = ET_`MOD`E_FASTFORWARD

for fast forward.

The classlib uses

pGrabber->setExternalTransportMode(ED_`MOD`E_FF)

for fast forward.

Retrieving the current position is not possible at this moment.

This feature is implemented in version 1.3, which is available for download now. Please refer to:
