Hi, I am evaluating a DFK AFU130-L53 for a video kiosk application, and have a couple of questions.

1) is there a way of accessing advanced camera parameters such as One Push focusing from DirectShow? The current application was built around a DirectShow source, the DS graph has other elements such as overlays and audio capture that we need to reuse - so moving to the IC Imaging Control isn't an option at present.

2) if answer to 1) is 'no', we need a way of storing the camera setup once it has been properly adjusted (using IC Capture), and then automatically recalling these setups from our application. I saw reference to saving camera properties as an iccf file, is it possible to reload these properties without running IC Capture? Basically we are looking for 'hands off' operation as much as possible.

Many thanks in advance,

Peter.

Hello

the answer is "Yes". please create a support request at http://www.theimagingsource.com/en_US/company/contact/

You need to know, how to use a KsPropertySet and you need a special header file with the property defs.
