Hi,

I have been successful in capturing a stream of images with the ImageAvailable event and now want to capture a single image using the software trigger.

I have been following the software trigger sample code, and my problem occurs at this line:
TIS.Imaging.VCDPropertyItem Trigger = imagingControl.VCDPropertyItems.FindItem(TIS.Imagi ng.VCDIDs.VCDID_TriggerMode);

Trigger becomes null as the trigger mode item can't be found.

Is triggering not support by this camera? Or is there another reason why this is failing?

Regards,
John.

Hi John

you are right, the auto iris cameras have no trigger support. You can easily check this with IC Capture.

Hi Stefan,

Is this a hardware limitation or a software limitation?

Is there a way to synchronise two of these cameras to capture at the same time?

Regards,
John.

John

it is a hardware limitation. Trigger and iris simply do not work together in this camera model

But you could look at this thread:
