Hi,

I want to buy DMM 22BUC03-ML camera. I have a tablet (let's say it is Nexus 7 2013) with USB OTG. It has Android 4.2 or 4.3 (without SELinux). Can I use the camera module to read video stream on the tablet over USB (with or without root access)? Do you see any limitations in the scenario? My final goal is to process the video stream. I want to get 30-60 FPS from the camera.

Please let me know if it is a supported scenario or if you know that it should work.

Hello

As a matter of principle you could use the DMM 22BUC03-ML in an Android system by using the standard driver stack (uvc and v4l2). However, we have no experiences with this and therefore, we can not provide support.
The suggested hardware should be reasonably capable of doing the image processing. But we never tested this, so we do not really know, whether this works as you want.
