View Full Version : Specifying the imageBuffer format

I'm trying to operate with a ringbuffer of size 5. The thing is, i'm using a DMx 31AU03 which is Y800 1024x768.

When I receive the ImageBuffers, the format is Format24bppRgb. I'm using the ImageAvailable Event.

but I don't know why is changing the format to 24bppRgb from (Y800 1024x768).

I use
this.icImagingControl1.MemorySnapImageSequence(5, 2000); for obtaining the images.

I would like to set an incoming image of 8bppIndexed.

I've found the solution, just setting a default sink to the icImagingControl and setting the sink.SnapMode to false for raising the ImageAvailable event.

this.m_sink = new FrameHandlerSink();
this.m_sink.BufferCount = this.framesForImageAvg;
this.m_sink.SnapMode = false;
this.icImagingControl1.Sink = this.m_sink;
