Hi!

Before performing captures with DeBayering off (external DeBayering), with the DBK21AU618, we have 3 options for the DeBayer Algorithm:
- Nearest color
- Billinear
- Edge Sensing
I have 2 questions.

1- What is the best one (for getting a better final image, when I will do the external DeBayering) ???
2- Is there a good (or few) reference document(s) that I could consult for understanding better these capture-related parameters and their implications on the quality of the image once I will do the external DeBayering?

If you want to do external debayering, then you should not enable debayering in IC Capture at all, because this changes the raw data of Y800 to RGB and you can not debayer later.

Yes, there is a document available, showing different algorithms and their results:

On the site are some more algorithms documented than we have implemented. Beware: There is lots of mathematic :-) I suppose, the "Algorithm Comparison" is the interesting part for you.
