View Full Version : Is there a trigger-listening-event?

I'm pretty new to VB so i hope my questions aren't too obvious.
I want to make and save images using the DFK 23G274 by pushing an external trigger. For this purpose i'm using the .MemorySnapImage()- and .MemorySaveImage-methods. The problem is i can't find an event which activates on trigger.
Does something like this exist or do i have to go on using an infinite loop starting the methods right after the previous ended(which i don't really want)?

Another question: Is there a possibility to reduce the networktraffic, because i can only use 3.7 fps with rgb24(1600x1200) at 100mbits/s.

Hello:

Instead of using the MemorySnapImage, you use the ImageAvailable event.

Also set the property LiveCaptureContinuous to true, so every incoming image will be saved automatically in the ring buffer and the ImageAvailable event is called.

I am surprise, that you can use the camera on 100mBit at all. Unfortunately the camera can not run slower. We tried this, but the sensor starts to behave not as expected.

Thank you very much. That completely fixed my software.
