Hi, i have a USB2pro and in my software when i try to use the AviStartCapture method after about 3000 frames it will the live display will go black and the frame count will stop counting. i am using a frame filter i have wrote to count frames if this is wrong please let me know. Also once it freezes i cannot use any other software such as the sample apps - until i unplug the USB2pro and re plug it in.

Please help, Tim.

(P.S it is working alright on the laptop i am programming with but the smaller one - could it be a power issue on the usb ports of the smaller laptop ? )

Hi,

Which Windows version do you use?
Does the computer go into some suspend mode?
What do we know about the "smaller" laptop? (model etc)

It is running windows 7.
No, the application continues to run fine (just there are no incoming frames) and also the actual live view is just black.

Laptop - which gives Error (http://www.tetratab.com/productrange/c-series.html)

It does not give this error on any other laptop's i have tried it on. could it be the unsafe code when dealing with pointers in the frame filter?

Hello,

Is is possible, the Laptop disables, or suspends the USB datatransfer? In Windows are several power options, so you can check this. I am only guessing.
