I would like to know if anyone else has had an issue (and resolution) getting a DMK 41AUO2.AS to function with an HP Desktop. Specifically, an HP Compaq dc5750 Microtower, ADM Athlon Dual Core, 2.29 GHz, 3MB Ram running XP Pro SP3.
The desktop recognizes the camera as a USB 2 device (not be name) and starts the device wizard, even though the ImageSource device driver app is running (from CD). The camera app does not show a camera present. I downloaded the camera driver from the site and started the camera device driver install app, plugged in the camera (directly to desktop with USB 2 cable) and it recognizes the camera and installs the driver however; looking in the device manager, it shows a yellow exclamation with an indication that resources are being reported incorrectly (code 9).
Support indicates the issue is with the desktop however; I've tried it on 3 HP desktops with the same results. The camera does work as the drivers installed successfully on a Lenovo desktop running Windows 7.
Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Dan,

I suggest to ask in other astronomy forums too.
