I cant get my DMK21AU618 to work in long exposure as a camera. As a guider it work well as a VS mode. I tried the ascom driver 1.3 and I get this array pixel message.

Hi

The DMK 21AU618 is an industrial camera. The maximum exposure time of this camera is 30 seconds. However, I guess, you use a DMK 21AU618.AS. It has longer exposure times, as you can check with IC Capture. I would guess, its a problem of the software you use, so you may as the software manufacturer.

Hi

You mean the one mounted into the camera, that calibrates the distance between sensor and lense and has the thread for the lense? If you have removed this part, this is not good.

I am not sure, whether we can provide you with this part, but I would like you to create a support request at http://www.imagingcontrol.com/support/case/ so I can go in contact with you directly.

Hello Stefan,

Calibrates the distance with what? the stock lense may be, as my Coronado PST has limited focal lenght. I got to remove it and place a front end 2x barlow. It has two little screws that holds it. I didn't saw those screws and forced the ring too much. I did a quick fix by paint it with black permanent marker, it did the job pretty, but I want a new one. Do you know the part#?

The inner thread calibrates the distance between sensor and lens. The distance is 12.5mm, which is corresponding to CS-Mount.

Thanks Stefan,

I don't have plans to install any lens other than my Coronado PST. How much cost that ring?
and where to order?

Hi

Please create a reqeust at http://www.imagingcontrol.com/support/case/.

I do not know, what a ring costs, because we usually do not send the camera in single parts (I must think of a "build your own camera" kit :-) )
