Hello everyone,

we have a problems with the camera DMK-72BUC02 trigger. Situation is the following. We had tried to generate EXTERNAL trigger of camera with help of generator. Pulses were square, frequency 1 Hz, amplitude of trigger pulses 9 V, we tried different pulse durations from 10, 30, 100 - 200 microseconds. But the camera did NOT take a pictures. In free running mode all right.
We use software IC Capture 2.2 (Windows XP).
Also we tried to send the signal to GP_out (Pin.2) with help of IC Capture. But no reaction on push button.

Could you be so kind to suggest us where is the problem and how to fix this problem with external trigger as we could not work with external trigger.

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

I would like to know, whether it is possible to generate a longer trigger pulse e.g. 1 ms?

Also please try this:

But I think, the trigger pulses are too short.

Also we tried to send the signal to GP_out (Pin.2) with help of IC Capture. But no reaction on push button.
The GP Out is an Open Drain / Open Collector, you need some electronics to handle this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_collector
