Hi,

I found that invoking the MemorySnapImage and MemorySaveImage methods in LabView greatly simplifies and speeds up my application which writes image data to the disk without needing to display it on the screen, thus eliminating the need for IC Grab Picture and/or IC Grab IMAQ VI's.

However I am restricted to BMP with MemorySaveImage and JPG with MemorySaveImageJpeg. Would a PNG option be available in the future? It would be immensely useful since now one measurement cycle of mine produces some 12 gigabytes of data when using BMP. PNG would cut it down to 2 or 3 gigabytes.

Hello

I am very sorry, but the ActiveX development has ended. Therefore, PNG wont be available.

Using the .NET component of IC Imaging Control and .NET Framework supports many more image types, because the .NET Framework contains the save methods for TIFF, PNG etc
