Registax can't read DMK Y800 avi capture

I switched from the default setting (DVI I think) to Y800 setting for capturing video of the Moon. I did this because Y800 is supposed to give me raw capture. All went well.

Then I tried to read AVI file in Registax (v6) and I got this error:
Failed to read number of frames.

Do I have to convert the Y800 capture AVI file to something else so Registax can read it?

Hello,

This error message sounds to me, that Registax was not able to read the header information of the AVI file. It was not able to determine the number of frames in your AVI.

Did IC Capture end with an error message?
Did you end IC Capture, while AVI Capture was in progress?
