Hi all,
New to this forum, and I'm having a bit of a problem. I have a DMK31 USB camera and for some reason, whenever I turn off auto exposure and adjust exposure settings manually, it immediately causes a blue screen of death. I can leave exposure set to auto and adjust gain manually with no problem.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,
- Craig Temple

Hello Craig,

First of all, I would like you to install the latests drivers. The current drivers can be downloaded from http://www.theimagingsource.com/en_US/support/downloads/.

Which Windows version do you use?

Also you can create a support case at http://www.imagingcontrol.com/en_US/support/case/ and send the latest minidump file from c:\windows\minidump directory for analysis.

Hi Stefan,

I have already updated to the latest drivers - that was the first troubleshooting I did :)
I am using Windows 7 x64.

However, I may have found the issue, but I'm not sure if it is a known problem or not. I had been using an ICRON USB Ranger 2204 (USB 2.0 over CAT5e) and when I removed that device and used USB with 2 powered hubs, the problem disappeared. Is this a known incompatibility? It must be related to bandwidth, since I couldn't get 30fps before, and now I can.

Thanks and regards,
- Craig

Hello Craig,

This is not kwown issue, because this kind of hardware is new to me. However, if you send a minidump file, we can see, where the access violation happened.
