Labview and recording video example needed!

Hello everyone,

Does anyone have an example vi to capture video?

I tried using this one: creating-an-AVI (http://www.theimagingsourceforums.com/showthread.php?322943-creating-an-AVI) However, it didnt work at all on my system.

Hey Stefan I was able to record video from the cameras. The new problem I have is with the codec. The DivX Codec I installed records 5 seconds of video however it plays back in a quick 3 seconds. Do you have any ideas what is happening? I apologize on the late response I was out of town for sometime.

I suppose, the codec changed the frame rate in the AVI file from the camera's frame e.g.15 fps to a television frame rate, e.g 25 fps or 29.99. Maybe you can configure the codec, thus it does not change the frame rate. Please refer to http://www.imagingcontrol.com/en_US/support/documentation/activex/meth_descAviCompressor_ShowPropertyPage.htm . It shows, how to open a codec's configuration page.
