View Full Version : Saving device setting with built-in PropertyDialog

February 28, 2011, 00:55:00

I'm using IC Imaging Control 3.2 with DMK 22BUC03 in VS2010 (on Windows 7) for simple image processing and I got some strange problem with built-in property dialog window.

I found that if I set exposure time at 1/3333s value, this one property will not be saved (also if I use SaveDeviceStateToFile() method) and next time I run my program (I'm storing settings in xml file with SaveDeviceStateToFile() and LoadDeviceStateFromFile()) exposure will be set at 1/5000s value.

I tried to use VCDSimpleProperty to set exposure in code but I could only use physical values range (-14...4) and there isn't any indirect setting (2^-11.5 ~ 1/3333s).

Thanks for advice!

I checked XML file. If I set exposure time to 1/3333s I get in this file after closing PropertyDialog window and saving (SaveDeviceStateToFile) correct value:

[...]<itf guid="{99B44940-BFE1-4083-ADA1-BE703F4B8E08}" value="2.9999999999999997e-004" />

But when I open dialog windows again exposure time is set to 1/5000s.

The problem exist only with 1/3333s exposure setting.

Could anyone help me with this?

I am very sorry, I forgot to answer you. It seems, there is a problem in the USB camera adapter file. We have issued an error and now I have to wait until it is fixed by the programmers

You may create a support case at http://www.imagingcontrol.com/en_US/support/case/ so I can try to notify you, when the issue is fixed.
