I can't set the backlight and sharpeness paramiter of my camera.
I use the program IcCapture and a camera type DMx 31AG03 SN:0x39010586

i have also try to change the parameter with a program:

slShape.Minimum = VCDPropA.RangeMin(VCDIDs.VCDID_Sharpness)
slShape.Maximum = VCDPropA.RangeMax(VCDIDs.VCDID_Sharpness)
slShape.Value = VCDPropA.RangeValue(VCDIDs.VCDID_Sharpness)

i get this error

An unhandled exception of type 'System.Exception' occurred in imagingcontrol3.dll

This type of camera supports these features? And if not, which kind of camera is necessary?

you may check, whether the camera model in question supports these properties, before you try to query them. Th DMx 31AG03 does not have Backlight and Sharpness properties. You should check VCDPropA for not being NULL.

Usually analogue grabbers have sharpes.

The old DFK 21F04 supported backlight correction.

These properties are also DirectShow standard properties, which are defined in the VIDEO_PROC_AMP and CAMERA_PROC_AMP (?) interface. This does not mean, that each device must support this. For more information, if this is needed, I suggest to have a look into the DirectShow documentation.
