Dear Sir,
I am using model DFK 21F04, in that device Properties have a option “Backlight Compensation”.
My query is
1. What is the Use of that option?
2. Where should I use and what should I set defiantly?
3. If I am use backlight then what should I have to set?

Thanks and Regards
Sethupathy

Hello
Definition: Backlight compensation is video gain done either manually or automatically to correct the exposure of subjects that are in front of a bright light source. (Source : http://camcorders.about.com/od/camcorderglossary/g/BacklightCompen.htm )

It is used, if you have too much backlight, thus objectives in the foreground are to dark. The Backlight compensation excludes specific areas to be used for the exposure algorithm, thus brightness is measured only on special parts of the image. I am very sorry, but I have no definition of the 7 settings of backlight compensation available right now. I suggest to play around with this.
