I just got a DFK 22BUC03 camera and it is a very nice unit. I am hoping to use the external trigger feature, but I have no idea what to do with the 4-pin connector on the back of the camera. I cannot find any documentation on this connector, and I have no idea which of the 4 pins do what. I don't know what level of signal to send and to which pins it should be sent.

Does anyone have any information about the external trigger hardware on this camera? Thanks!

I'm assuming the 4-pin connector is a Hirose product, but I don't know which one, and I don't know the pinout, nor the signal to be applied to trigger the camera. Anyone?

I don't know about the exact trigger outputs on the CMOS camera's but for the CCD's you can take a look at this document:

http://www.theimagingsource.com/downloads/dxxxxbfxxtrigio.en_US.pdf

Although there is no 4 pin connector on those ones.

I guess you can better wait for Stefan to answer.... :)

I am afraid this document only contains the pin assignment of the CCD cameras. For the CMOS cameras is a preliminary document available. Please create a request at http://www.imagingcontrol.com/en_US/support/case/ so this document can be sent to you.
