What the better Linux Operating System to Develop camera Application like fedora ,ubuntu, redhurt , slackware , the Operating should be good realiable and efficient to use, kindly give me a suggestion , now we are working under the windows platform

Hello,
I have only experiences with Ubuntu 10.04 lts, which is easy to install. However I have no programming experiences in Linux, thus I can not support you.

Well, good question. We want to make our cameras Linux compatible, so V4L can be used. However, we do not plan a Linux SDK like Unicap.
