Is this possible?

I have a program that tracks satellites using the camera - it does not control the camera in any way - whatever settings the camera has stay that way while the program is running. It uses the camera to correct the tracking of the satellite.

I would like to use IC Capture to do the actual recording. Windows won't let two programs use the camera at the same time though.

Would it be possible, if I could find or make such a cable to have two computers access the camera at once? One with IC Capture which actually controlled the camera and the other with the tracking program that did not?

I know it's a long shot, but thought I'd ask.

Easiest approach is to have one piece of software read the screen display (buffer) and acquire its information in this manner. There are several astro software packages that do this. The one I'm most familiar with analyzes a Bahtinov mask pattern from screen display and controls a focuser...

You might be able to acquire a satellite position in the same fashion and control your tracking? Just a thought...
