Hi,
The ascom driver link seems to be dead, something about their site being hacked. Where can I get an ascom driver for the dmk21?

If you do a Google search for DMK ASCOM you'll find at least one site that has V1.2 of the ASCOM driver BUT I'm not sure if this is the most recent release. You might wish to contact Gerrit by e-mail...

Hi,
This link, from the blog is broken:
deepsky.endofinternet.org/ (http://deepsky.endofinternet.org/)
and the other link:
www.deepsky-online.com/ (http://www.deepsky-online.com/)
no long has a live link to the projects.
If anybody has versionV1.2, could you please attached it here to a message?
Thanks,

Lawrence,
I have V1.3 of the DMKCCD ASCOM driver; however, it is 1.9 MBytes and too large to attach to a message on this forum.
I have uploaded the zipped file to the DMKCCD-imaging forum>Files>Allan Files directory. The following link should access the file directly. If not, please login into the forum and download the file from the Allan Files directory.

Hi Folks,
I am sorry. I was under heavy load for months. Now the situation gets better and I will provide the driver again on my website. Also I can continue development and testing on windows 7.
Unfortunately someone hacked my website and so I had to deactivate it for a while.
Thanks for your patience and kind regards,
Gerrit

Hi *,
please find the Driver in your Mail.
Please note:

There will be a new driver provided in a few weeks,

- tested wiht Windows 7 , Windows XP
- tested with the 10Bit Mode of the GiGE CCD Cams
Kind regards,

It seems to be invalid for ascom 6
(Perhaps is it just the installer that has a problem)

Yes, the old driver works with ascom 5.
Development based on Ascom 6 is not finished yet.

First off - props to Gerrit and this awesome piece of software!!!
2nd, I just pulled down v1.3 and gave it a go on Win7-32bit in VS2010Express (C#) and got the nasty DEP errors (a.k.a. windowless ActiveX, or NXCOMPAT).
Finally, I see your prepping another build soon - any chance we'll get around the DEP errors? I know as a developer I can durn off DEP on my machine, but if I'm going to have anyone else use the software i'm writing, i'm not going to be able to ask them to do the same.
Thanks again, and anxiously await the next version!

Hi,
may be the "Windowless ActiveX" errors are caused by use of IC Imaging Control 3.1 .NET. The 3.2 version does no longer need the ActiveX and has smaller VC++ Runtime files. Therefore you may update to 3.2 for free? (Create a support request.)

Hi Folks,
perhaps the actual beta of the driver does fulfill your requirements. You can use it if you are not working with subframes.
It works with PHDGuiding and also Maxim DL. It was tested on Windows XP and Windows 7, including 64 Bit.
I am not sure, if all the required components from the imaging control where provided well.
Give it a try, but do not blame me, if it actually doesn't work.
Please download the early release of the TIS Cameras Ascom Driver.
Imaging Capturing is much faster than in the old Version of the Driver.
Also the working in 10 Bit mode is possible with this driver.
The development still goes on. Don't worry!
