DFK 31AU03.AS help

I have owned a DFK 31AU03.AS camera for more that a year, but I am just starting to use it due to a long illness. I would like to know if someone can help me with the settings. Should I be using it in Y800, or YUY2 mode, and what is the best codec to use for color. Help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I've attached a couple of files on codecs and their usage.

Personally, I always use the BY8 and RGB24 combo. This produces a large file BUT it is already debayered and ready to use in any software I own. However, I understand Y800 keeps the file size down and is easily debayered in Registax, etc.
