View Full Version : avi start/stop and live display...

I'm trying to capture video clips using avi start/stop... I also have livedisplay set false, as I want to do some frame counting/manipulation outside of the recording, but at same time. What happens is the image available callback seems to stall from the time I call start, to the time I call stop and I have to call LiveStart() again to get this displaying...

question: how to do avi capture with livedisplay false, and also keep delivering image available events ?

ps: I also tried using livedisplay true, and doing avi start/stop and that does continue to show live video, but the image control display blinks black for about 1/2 sec when starting and then again when stopping the recording..

pss: I also tried using a mediastreamsink thinking a different sink source might do the trick, but I don't think I can use a media sink and a frame sink at same time??

thanks again for any help... -jim

Hello Jim,

to do this, you have to use a framefilter and the mediastreamsink.
