View Full Version : USB camera trigger misbehavior

We're using a DFK 21BUC03 camera in trigger mode.
If the trigger signal is active for a longer time, the camera delivers live image, indepentend from trigger properties.
This means, we have one trigger signal and get more than one image!
This misbehavior is not documented and is often not to accept in applications.

To avoid this, a simple hardware circuit can be used to generate a short trigger pulse only
if signal is changing to active. The capacitor C1 determines the pulse length. Resistor R2 discharches C1 when signal is passive.
This circuit works well with a positive switching industrial sensor and may simple be adopted to other signal sources.

@TIS: I suggest to open a hardware branch in the forum.

Hello elha,

Thank you very much for your efforts, it is highly appreciated.

I ask the forum administrator to add a hardware branch to the forum.
