Dmk21au04.as install problem

Hi, today I received my new camera and connected to a USB 2.0 port (dell Vostro laptop windows xp sp 3), I try to install the driver, I selected USB version, and next appears a dialog that says "connect devices" and after that I read the manual installation (pdf) and the name for the usb device is a "USB VIDEO DEVICE" and not the "USB Cam boot device" that appears in the device manager in my computer.
It´s a power limitation of the USB port?, a defective camera?

The laptop has an integrated webcam.

It seems that it´s a firmware problem, Tim from support request the camera back in order to fix it.
