View Full Version : not working "exposure" & "gain" on IC capture 2.1

I bought the DMK 21BUC03 and it came with the IC capture 2.1
I can see the live view but I am changing the exposure and gain settings and nothing is happening....(the auto button is unticked) What is going on??

Please let me know, which driver version is installed. You can see this in the Windows Device Manager.

Here are 2 different tests with different settings in gain and exposure but the image is exectly the same...:-(

Hello,

First of all excuse the delay of my answer.

Your image shows the driver of the CMOS Realtime clock. The camera is not clock... it should be listed in the "imaging devices" section. However, it is a DMK camera, that means, it wont work with the Microsoft standard driver. Thus I assume, you installed the driver, that came with your camera.

However, this DMK 21BUC03 is one of the first models of this serial (why does this problem comes up one year after the camera was provided?) , thus there are unfortunately some problems in the hardware. Yours is one of them

:-( yes, I installed the drivers from the CD.
The problem is that the camera is not for personal use but for an experiment in a university...We want to capture the motion of gus after a fan... What are you sujusting?
The camera was bought before 2 weeks....

Also I want to add that the camera was special ordered from my local distributor about a month ago, it was not stock...So it should be a newer version and not a years' ago...

I am a customer in Greece...If my distributor does not have a camera in stock what am I have to do?I should give the camera to him and tell him to send it back to you and wait a new one from you?
