Vista 64 problems

Hello all,
I have been using an IS camera DMK 41AF02.AS for a while on WinXPpro and vista 32 bit, with no problems using IC Capture 2, yesterday I installed vista 64 on the same machine, Ic Capture comes up the same as usual with the camera that is connected, I click ok and I get an error dialog, I do hope this picture comes through...

This is a new installation of vista w/sp1 and all updates done first, installed with UAC off and run as administrator when installed, nothing else on the firewire bus, the hardware shows the camera with no problems, I just cant get it display the video.


On a second try I installed IS-WCS and got an unhandled exception error.

Which shows; "System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x800A0002)"

First of all, did you also install the IS-WCS again, in case VC Runtime DLLs are missing? What is "IS-WCS"?

I am puzzled about the startlive failed error. However, I have sent you a private message with the latest IC Capture version download load link. Also I would like you to install the latest driver from http://www.theimagingsource.com/en_US/products/cameras/firewire-ccd-color/dfk41af02/

This program helps you to polar align your mount using the drift alignment method with CCD or webcam support

I had already Updated the driver. I just tried it again, No Joy!
I also tried the updated version of IC Capture that you sent to me. again No Joy!

If there is anything else I can do or info I can send to help troubleshoot this problem, please let me know, as I said in my original post I can use vista32 if need be.

Hello,

IC Capture and the driver must run in your Vista 64 bit without any problems. It does so on ours which run on a desktop computer.

It is possible to get a debug output from IC Capture. I will contact you about this using a private message.
