Hi,

Can (how?) the contents of a ringbuffer be saved as AVI file?

The plan is as follows (maybe I need to change/cut something):
a) save (50-100) frames from two syncrinized cameras to two ringbuffers
b) merge frames from second ringbuffer with their pairs in the first ringbuffer
c) let the user to view the frame sequence (the merged frames)
d) let the user save the frame sequence either as jpg files or as avi file

The point a) is time critical other steps may take their time.

Regards,
EHi

Dear EHi,

writing image buffers into an AVI file is a hard job. You may find some code for creating AVI files on http://www.codeproject.com.

The sample at http://www.imagingcontrol.com/en_US/library/dotnet/iterating-an-image-sequence/ shows how to snap an image sequence and use a slider to iterate through the images.
