Hello,

I have some kind of "dither effect" with my new DMK 31AF03.AS. Every second pixel has a similar intensity. And in the live video every second line is dark. Can you help me?

Here is an example of this effect:

Phillip,

this is no dither. It is the bayer pattern of the CCD. It is also called raw data.

It can be calculated into color information by programs like Registax.

Hello Stefan,

thanks for the quick response. I thought the Bayer patterns are only used for the color versions of the cameras (DFK and DBK) and not for the monochrome versions (DMK). Am I wrong?

Best regards,
Philipp.

Phillip,

you are right, I overread the "M" in the camera's name. I am very sorry for this. I think, the camera was produced incorrect and I would like you to exchange the camera. What is the camera's serialnumber?

Hi Stefan,

the serial number is #44800297. Exchanging the camera would be nice.

Best regards,
Philipp.
