A) will the camera drivers work

Yes.

B) any concerns about the .net control

No. Only Visual Studio may has a problem with 64/32 bit:

To work around this issue call C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\ld r64.exe setwow in the prebuild step of your Visual Studio 2005 project, and call C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\ld r64.exe set64 in the postbuild step of your project.
Please keep in mind, LDR64.exe needs administrator rights.

Also I would like to point out, that IC .NET 3.0 can not be used with VS 2008 in Windows Vista, but with VS 2005. If you have VS 2008, I can support you with the RC of IC 3.1. You may contact me at http://www.imagingcontrol.com/en_US/support/case/. I would need you current IC license key then.

Stefan, as I understand it, this means IC Control will work only as a 32-bit process in WOW mode on 64 bit Vista.

That means we cannot deploy IC Control as part of our 64 bit application on Vista 64 bit

Am I right? If so, what are the plans, if any, to support true 64-bit applications using IC Control .NET?

Thanks,

peterdvo

peterdvo,

you are are right. There are plans to compile as 64bit too, but there is no deadline right now.
