doubt in setVideoFormat()

i have one doubt. if i set the video format of our camera as ("BY8 (1024x768)") and get the result of that function, its returning FALSE and displaying the live.. what does it mean? whether its taking default (("UYVY (1024x768)") or anything else..?

please let me know.

i just transfered the result into BOOL variable like...

BOOL t_Res ;
t_Res = p_Grabber1->setVideoFormat("UYVY (1024x768)");

The Camera model is DFx 31AF03

I have a question: Did you open a video capture device, before you have set the video format? (I guess you did.)
